Keep It Balanced

A healthy diet is a balanced diet. Different foods contain different nutrients. So to get everything you need, you should eat a variety of foods.

Of course there's a limit to how much you can eat in total. If you go over that limit, then you'll put on weight. So you need to balance WHAT you eat with HOW MUCH you eat. Knowing how many kilojoules (kJ) are in the food and drink we consume helps us achieve balance and maintain a healthy weight.

You should enjoy foods from the major five food groups daily.
